Core Rates

Cores are nice to have, so maps that give lots of cores must be nice. It takes something like 2000-3000 cores to craft a 5★ Para, so there's always a use for them - PR could happen this decade, and maybe even Singularity+ if we're lucky.

General rates#

Here's a list of popular core-farming maps and their estimated core rates (average cores obtained per run):

8-1N obviously gives no cores, but may be nice if you only want XP and want it fast. Heliport-spawned enemies generally don't drop dolls so 8-2 (SF dragging) doesn't give anything significant.

10-4E and 12-4E are decent sources of their non-limited 5-star drop. Personally, my SR-3MP rate is ~0.6% and my MDR rate is ~1.0% per run.

Cores per run isn't the only metric you should use. XP is also valuable, and each run will have different costs/requirements/time per run. Notably, 11-6 has a good core rate per run but involves more fights, isn't draggable, and uses a less accessible setup.

Events and other maps#

Some maps aren't part of your usual farming regimen, but it may still be interesting to know their stats. These tending to be time-limited makes it hard to collect good data and thus the numbers will be a bit rougher.

Autobattles & Crafting#

Compared to corpse dragging, autobattles are horrendously resource-inefficient. If your time is limited and you've already got a 5-star parachute or two, they can be nice as a lazy way to level up the remainder of your armory. For general information including XP and resource efficiency, this excellent spreadsheet should be all you need. For core data, here are my observations:

where kWRSC is 1000 weighted resources (parts triple value). 7-1 is the most resource-efficient map for XP, and this seems to also hold for cores. Its only limitation is a level cap of 97, so you'll need to look elsewhere to level mod dolls.

As long as you have the contracts, crafting anything that isn't a MG will be substantially more resource-efficient than even 7-1 autobattles. XP not included, though crafting gets more valuable if you have missing spots in your collection or can use rolled dolls for links.
